While planning a trip to Santa Fe last April, I hadn't even given thought to horseback riding, but after a pleasant conversation with a man seated next to me on my flight, I made up my mind to give it a try. As it turns out, the man next to me just happened to be one of Annie's neighbors and friends...and now I am happy to say I am also a friend of Annie's and her wonderfully kind and gentle horses! The 3 hours I spent riding Sage was magical and thrilling in every way! For an inexperienced rider, like myself, Sage was perfect in every way! The ride gave me the opportunity to fully enjoy the New Mexico landscape while making new friends. I will never forget this experience and must only wait until my next get-away to enjoy it all over again!!! Thanks, Annie, for your gracious way of life and for your horses!
