Dog Sprayed By Skunk

In the summer of 2005, our 30 lb. fuzzy terrier Dorothy was sprayed by a skunk just as we were going to bed. It was dark and somewhat chilly. Not wanting to go through the tomato juice, vinegar, or lemon routine, we grabbed the Organic Cleaner; since it works on just about everything else, why not give this a try?

I put about a teaspoon - full strength - in the palm of my hand, rubbed it around and then rubbed her fur like mad. By the time I washed off my hands, our dog did not smell either. I was amazed!!!! My hands never did smell of skunk.

The next day in the sunshine we gave her a quick bath; we did not add any more of the Organic Cleaner, just rinsed her well in water. She was super clean and 99.999% free of the skunk smell.

Thankfully we have not had a skunk spray since then, but when we do I'll know what to try first, and I'll report back to you!
