Green Chile Apple Crisp Cake

15 Chopped or sliced Apples, just about any kind will do
2 cups packed Brown Sugar
1-2 cups Chopped Green Chile (I used some that were roasted and previously frozen). use as hot or mild as you like.
4 eggs
3 teaspoon Cider Vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon ground Allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground Nutmeg
2 cups Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder

2 cups Rolled Oats (I used Old Fashioned)
1 cup Butter
1 cup packed Brown Sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

in a large microwave pan, or frying pan on the stove, melt the butter; add 1 cup brown sugar, cook until bubbly. add the rolled oats & stir until they are browned. cool slightly.

mix all other ingredients ingredients, stirring well to get the chiles mixed evenly. fold in the browned oats and mix thoroughly. pour into a greased 9x13'' baking pan.

bake 45-50 min or till tests done.

FOR GLUTEN FREE Green Chile Apple Crisp Cake, substitute Pamela's Baking Mix for the flour.
